a little peek into our life

In no way am I a writer at all... though I felt the need, since Miss June made her arrival to document "us" in one way or another. So why not share these thoughts, chronicles, adventures...what ever you want to call them with you!!


Sunday Morning Pancakes...What is better than waking up to your favorite loved ones, refreshed from the busy day before with the simple, yet best homemade breakfast, and its not even the act of eating the pancakes, but is the time you spend with those people around you making the breakfast and waking up to the morning with them. That is what this blog is about, the memories, the happy times and i am sure some mishaps. But when it comes down to it that is what makes us, and that is our story. I hope you enjoy a little look into our life.


"Us" - this is our little family. Up until about 7 weeks and 2 days ago, it was just Doug and I(Abby) as a outside family, and then June made her arrival as an outside baby :) (rather than the inside baby that she was for 39 weeks)  She has brought us so much joy and happiness. Our views on life have changed, our meaning and purpose of living is now for her. We can sit and stare and her for hours, and our new form of entertainment is making the weirdest faces or funniest noises just to see what will make her smile. If there were people peeping in our window at this time they may think that we are crazy!(which we may be anyway) But the outcome pays off, either her big smiles lead to more noises from us trying for more smiles, or the funny faces that she makes back at us, make us laugh. Who would have thought this little being, so perfect could steal our hearts and lead me to writing a blog :) What you do for Love!
