Junie is a busy bee, she is getting so big. I can't wait until her 4 month appt. on 9/2 to see the actual measurements of our sweet babe. She loves her activity mat, that we have renamed as her tree fort. She also loves it when daddy flys her around our house like a space ship. It is the sweetest thing to see Doug's heart melt when he looks at her and her eyes light up when she looks at him.....i love it. When I am holding her she follows Doug with her eyes where ever he goes, she even tries to lean to look around corners to keep her eye on him. She loves to pull her self up to stand when you are holding her hands, i don't know if this is normal for an almost 4 month old, but it is pretty cute seeing this little short legged person standing with a grin from ear to ear. We really are lucky, she is overall a happy baby all the time. At her 2 month appt with the Dr. He had mentioned that if needed we could start rice cereal early if the bottles were not holding her over throughout the night, since she was easily taking down 6 oz every 3 hours. At that time i could not even imagine feeding her from a spoon. Well she ate rice cereal for the first time about 2 weeks ago. The deciding factor was that she was waking up between 3 and 4 am wide wake ready to eat and play, Mama and daddy were very tired after being used to her going to bed at 9pm and having to wake her up in the morning to go to daycare, i guess me and Doug are spoiled! But Since this wonderful rice cereal discovery she has pretty much reverted back to the normal, yay! It also helps that she is starting to get into a routine, Thank you Brittany (daycare)!! Speaking of Daycare, she loves daycare, she loves Brittany and all of her friends at daycare! I love seeing how much all of those little people love her and how excited they are to see her, and when we pick her up they all run over to give her hugs and kisses before she leaves :) This makes me happy that she has little friends! She also loves her cousins Ella and Audrey and they love her just as much. My sister Kate tells me that Audrey is constantly asking her "a dune-dune" which translates to where's June-June. This also makes my heart warm! I want these girls to be close and grow up together, the best friends you can have are family!
Since my last blog post June-June has turned 3 months. I wanted to make sure that i had pictures of all the milestone months (3,6,9,12) so for her 3 month pictures since in the last couple of years i have become more and more interested in photography and pretty much taught myself by reading books and learning things online, i thought that i would take a whack at it. I am pretty proud of the pictures i took. It also helps to have a model that is adorable. Juner has definitely been a good sport for mama, she has been posed for many pictures...Here are some of her 3 month pictures :)
Juner was baptised last Sunday(8/14). Her Godparents are my sister and brother-in-law. When my niece Ella was asking what were Godparents, i explained to her...and she asked "well if my mom and dad are Godparents what are Auddy and I on her BATHTISM day?" haha :) So Ella and Audrey are now Godcousins to Juner, Ella says that this means she is going to love her extra lots and watch over Juner! Oh how I love those girls! With all of the craziness on her baptism day i don't think that i even took any pictures, i will have to get some from the people in attendance and post some pictures, I do have to say that her dress was the most adorable thing ever!
Doug Started a new Job 2 weeks ago. He is really enjoying it. He still is working with Granite counter tops, but it is for a brand new company just opening up in Farmington. The Owner of this new company is wonderful and i know will appreciate Doug and all Doug has to offer to this company. At Doug's last place of employment, there wasn't any appreciation at all. I am excited for him and this new adventure. I think that since Doug is starting with this company and is a helping hand in building this company from the beginning he has taken a sense of "ownership" and that makes a big difference. He really cares about this company and wants it to succeed! So if any one wants/needs some lovely granite counter tops and wonderful service...let us know! :)
Anywho, that is what we have been up to, nothing too crazy, i am OK with that. We really just enjoy being at home with June-dizzle. It's funny, when she spends the night at grandma and grandpa's house what do Doug and i do...we go home and look at pictures and watch videos of her :) Here is one from when she was just days old...how time flies :)
